This weekend me and my family went village in the north of Portugal. There, I drew one espigueiro (a place were they keep the corncobs away from the rats) and a shrimp at dinner.
Will likely end up printing this as an 8x8 page to include in my albums. :-)
Journaling: Run. That’s what Jason’s doing right now as I wait for him to come around the corner and onto the bridge toward the 3 mile marker. It’s currently 7:05am on June 6th, 2010 and Jason began his very first half marathon just moments ago. I hope he’s doing well. I hope his leg isn’t hurting him too much. I hope the weather stays cool today. I hope I get to tell him I love him as he runs by me. I hope he’s feeling confident and knows that I have complete faith in him. I am so proud of him. I am more proud than he knows. I know that it’s incredible, what he’s doing, running 13.1 miles, but I don’t think I knew how incredible until I got here. Until I saw those first runners coming around the corner, running, fast. It’s incredible. I’m honored to have someone I love running today. I am honored to be able to be one of those people on the side of the road cheering on the runners and letting them know that I’m pulling for them and that they are doing something amazing. It’s an exciting day.

A weekend. The electricity supplier did some maintenance at the nearby substation and hindered us of electricity supply for major part of a weekend. Hence no ADSL, no television and no "fire in the glass".
One paperback, 4 kusui and a double coffee put me through the day. Such a good excuse to go back to my paperback, which l bought at Chowrasta, Penang with Abang Khai and Alif. Ohh, that Tom Clancy was RM5 a piece.
