Week 6 - Candy. For some reason we had a big container of Valentines candycorn at our house. I quietly encouraged my kids to start playing with them and see what designs they could come up with. This is what my 10 year old came up with.
Another struggle this week, especially since this is my favorite color. However, when I realized all that the color actually meant to me and what words it resonated with (faithful, reliable, free, peaceful, calm), I couldn't believe I was sitting inside the thing I needed to capture. I'm so grateful for this wonderful car, Eleanor, for letting me put so many miles on her to travel and explore. As I begin to focus on living as a Minimalist, the objects that bring value to my life were the first to identify. She is so valuable.
Mission Beach Aquatic center at sunset. I played around with various landscapes. Unsatisfied with the drama of black and white infrared, I decided to use a free action in photoshop. This one altered the pinks in the image.

This is almost as bad as SOOC. I could not come up with a shot idea and the weather is not cooperating so I grabbed a plant and set up some flashes and played around with lighting and angles.
