While the valley of the river Elbe has already filled with shades completely, the fortress Koenigstein is still shining in the light of the last sun of the day. This viewpoint at the Biedermann mausoleum near the village Thuermsdorf is one of the not so popular here in the elbe sandstone mountains. Its a beautiful and very peaceful place with a beautiful view. It was not easy to find a composition to shoot. After a while of trail and error I decided for this one.

Während sich das Elbtal schon komplett mit Schatten gefüllt hat erstrahlt die Festung Königstein noch im letzten Sonnenlicht des Tages. Diese Aussicht hier, am Biedermann Mausoleum in der Nähe von Thürmsdorf gehört nicht zu den bekanntesten hier im Elbsandsteingebirge. Es ist ein sehr angenehmer, ruhiger Ort mit einer schönen Aussicht, Es ist hier allerdings nicht einfach eine Bildkomposition zu finden. Nach längerem probieren habe ich dann für diese hier entschieden.
