I was getting sick of the old design, it wasn't something I was proud of. So I decided to redesign it and come up with something simple, easy on the eyes, and pleasing. Since I'm horrible working with graphics, I figure I'd keep it as a minimum and focus on what I do best. This is the result.

I'm trying to design a site that is more suited to my needs. I'd like to design each article differently in the form that Jason Santa Maria, Dustin Curtis, 72nd Ave., and others do it. I believe that's the direction that design blogging should go. I appreciate any feedback.
Split the site into venues and events and then dedicated a single page to speaking about each specific event or venue. This allowed us again to feature bold photography and tell a little story about that event or venue.

I listen to GrooveSalad almost every day while working so I thought I'd come up with a re-design of SomaFM's homepage for fun.
I focused more on explaining who they were and asking for support since they are supported only by their fans. For the stations, I showcased the album/artist that was currently playing, which would change song to song to give the site some life.
