All background elements were created in Illustrator and Fireworks and then finished off in Dreamweaver where I used the SpryTools to enlarge the thumbnail pictures.

C-Base Raumstation
" c-base - Raumstation unter Berlin Mitte
Unter Berlin-Mitte liegen die Überreste einer 4,5 Milliarden Jahre alten Raumstation verborgen. Nach der Entdeckung. 1995 gründete sich ein gemeinnütziger Verein unter dem Namen c-base e. V. als Plattform für die Erforschung dieses einzigartigen Kulturerbes aus der Zukunft. Das Rekonstruktionsteam aus den verschiedensten wissenschaftlichen und kulturellen Gebieten trifft sich regelmäßig zum Ideenaustausch und zur Projektentwicklung in der Multimodulstation Rungestraße 20.
Den Mitgliedern des Vereins c-base, ”member“ genannt, stehen verschiedenartige Labore und Räume zur Nutzung offen. Es gibt ein sehr breitgefächertes Angebot an freien Seminaren und Workshops sowie verschiedenste Events, Ausstellungen etc.
Die Raumstation ist c-förmig aufgebaut, bestehend aus 7 Ringen, der Mittelpunkt befindet sich unter dem heutigen Alexanderplatz. Das erste Fundstück (Artefakt) mit der Inschrift ”the c-base project: be future compatible“ legte den Projektnamen fest und in Anlehnung an die Anzahl der Ringe entstand die Aufteilung in 7 Arbeitsbereiche:

Die Klammer um alles - Übersicht der Aktivitäten und Möglichkeiten sowie der Aufbau der Raumstation.

Die Einträge der auf Kohlenstoff basierenden Lebensformen der Besatzung und der Forscherteams in das Logbuch. Es enthält die bisher bekannte Stationsgeschichte und den Rekonstruktionsverlauf.
- cience. Wissenschaft und Bildung
Seminare und Workshops von C wie c-base über C-Programmierung, Internetnutzung, Linux, Webdesign bis Z wie Zukunftsforschung.
- creactiv. Projekte
Der Fokus für Kreativität und Phantasie. Die Crew bündelt ihre künstlerischen und technischen Visionen durch Aktionen und Projekte.
- culture. Der Veranstaltungssektor
Die Konzeption und Durchführung von Ausstellungen, sportlichen Aktivitäten, Performance & Theater. Lesungen, Partys und vieles mehr auf der c-base findet hier Raum.
