Counting the boxes
Another of PG's funded *web* startup babies @ YC have launched. Wufoo (Infinity Box Inc) build forms supplying tools to those who want to manage more complexity.
Good app, bad app
I've used this app and it solves a problem(s) and I can see where anyone who wants to build forms will see this app/apps as a boon.
But can we do better?
More conversation, less forms
Humans use conversation, interaction and less intrusive ways of interaction every day. Why is it that every time we converse with silicon we have to make allowences for the binary nature of computers?
Challenge
When are we going to harness the power of silicon to converse with humans in a more humane way, putting the onus on the silicon computation instead of people to do the hard work?

The new entrance includes a large brick pillar, which is currently being carved with images and text about the area by artist Gary Breeze. Gary and his colleague Charlotte Howarth held 2 workshops in early summer to enable local people to input into the design for the pillar. One workshop was for local school children from Angel Road Middle School; the other was for the general local community and was held at St Augustine’s Church hall.
The final design for the pillar is on a jousting theme, to reflect the Gildencroft’s heritage. The carving work should be complete by the end of October.

Just another iteration of the Access page UI. This is the page a student will use to connect to their hosted server.
ezimba is a web site that can apply different imaging effects.
I used one picture for all the effects just for consistency for comparison. The title for each photo consists of the category of the effect and the name of the effect. Some effects would be better used on a different image. There are some effects also that appear to do the same thing in different effect categories.
Ezimba also has a Facebook app, Google Android app, and a free iPhone app. Please note that the free iPhone app puts a small logo on the edited image. You can buy the paid ezimba app and not have the logo.

Laura and I made a trek to Ikea to buy this Galant Table. I didn't want to go, but the many months of having our laser printer' sitting on the floor had to come to an end. The afternoon was more stressful than I had anticipated. When we had to figure out whether a long shelf could fit in the back of our car, I panicked and declared that we most certainly needed to come back another day with a rental U-Haul. I was wrong; the shelf did fit snugly. I was happy to get away from the lines and the crowds.
Unfortunately, when we got home and began to assemble our table, we realized that we were missing a necessary frame. Argh! Injustice! I called the Ikea help line to complain that the woman who filled out our cash&carry order neglected to add a frame. I tried to get the clerk to send us the frame but to no avail -- of course. Fortunately, Laura had enough sense to get me off the phone. She just wanted the table.
We went back to Ikea to get the missing frame. Of course, we encountered another very long line. Why couldn't Ikea just take our order on the phone and have us swing by to pick it up directly? No, if you want to buy Ikea, you must submit to the unforgiving discipline of Ikea.
In the end, we were very happy to bring a bit more order to our apartment. But can I forgive Ikea? I'm sure I'll go crawling back to that den of just-good-enough furniture within the year's end.

Was ist "die Wahrnehmung der Zeit"?
Die sehr Ausdruck "die Wahrnehmung der Zeit 'lädt Einwand.

Für das, was wir wahrnehmen, sehen wir, wie der Gegenwart, wie gerade los. Können wir wahrnehmen, eine Beziehung zwischen zwei Ereignissen, ohne auch die Wahrnehmung der Ereignisse selbst?
Wenn nicht, dann scheint es, wir wahrnehmen, beide Veranstaltungen als vorhanden, wobei in diesem Fall müssen wir sie als simultane wahrzunehmen, und so nicht als aufeinanderfolgende, nachdem alle.
Es besteht dann ein Paradox in dem Begriff der Wahrnehmung eines Ereignisses als nach dem anderen auftritt, wenn auch eine, die vielleicht gesteht einer einfachen Lösung.
Wenn wir erkennen, B wie nach A kommt, haben wir, sicher, nicht mehr wahrnehmen, A. In dem Fall wird ein lediglich ein Einzelteil in unserem Speicher.
Wenn wir nun zu konstruieren "wahrnehmen" knapp, ohne in irgendeiner Weise der Speicher wollte, dann würden wir sagen, dass wir das nicht tun, nach allem, wahr B wie folgt A.
Aber in diesem Artikel werden wir konstruieren "wahrnehmen" im weiteren Sinne , um eine breite Palette von Erfahrungen der Zeit, die im Wesentlichen um die Sinne zu schließen.
In diesem weiten Sinne sehen wir eine Vielzahl von zeitlichen Aspekten der Welt. Wir werden durch die Aufzählung diese beginnen, und dann erwägen, Konten, wie solche Wahrnehmung möglich ist ...
