Currently locked down with Covid restrictions so only able to photograph locally, luckily is time of year the spiders are busy making webs amongst the dying flora
There were lots of trees at Corkscrew with these web sacks so I zoomed in to see. Don't know what kind of caterpillars these are.

On the morning of September 27, as we went out on the game drive inside the reserve, we noticed there were spider webs everywhere in the landscape. There must have been hundreds of them glistening in the morning dew. We stopped and took some images of the fabulous webs, some of them in pristine condition. I took images of three different webs, one with a spider in the center. The image on this upload does not contain a spider, but it is a beautiful web with wonderful bokeh. I have added a bit of warmth to the background.
It takes quite a bit of work to create a home that has a proper location and can balance on the upper tier stocks.
Oh yes if you look at the top left stock you will see a snail crawling without a shell.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.

Taken the same morning as my other recent mist shots. These dew-filled spider webs were all around me and they were so lovely! I was more drawn to the landscape at the time so just took a quick minute to snap this (didn't have the lens to do it proper justice). I don't think it's a terribly special photo but I kept not being able to bring myself to throw it away, so I'm finally posting it so that I don't have to keep looking at it in my "outbox!" ;)
