Swimming off the back of a junk out at Clearwater Bay, Hong Kong.
Apologies for the missed focus, this was taken while treading water.
Keeping it ultra simple this year. One patterned paper per day, one journal page and lots and lots of pictures to be taken with DSRL, iPhone and disposable waterproof camera. That is if the weather shapes up! It's no fun camping in the rain.
"I Wish It Would Rain Down", to be exact. There was a tropical downpour outside while we were playing in the cenote. Unfortunately you can't see it too well in this picture. Taken from inside the cenote looking out.
What's a cenote? From Wikipedia:
"Cenote (pronounced in Spanish seh-no-teh and in English say-no-tay, plural: cenotes) is the name given in Central America and southern Mexico to a type of freshwater-filled limestone sinkhole. The name derives from a Mayan word, dz'onot. The term is also nowadays commonly used to describe similar karst features in other countries such as Australia, where they are commonly called simply sinkholes and contain deep non-flowing lakes of crystal-clear freshwater which attract cave divers from around the world."
