This is me shot with the Pinthewater camera (see here for description) and I have no idea why this turned out pink. My best guess is that there was some detergent on the outside of the case (I had just shot my washing up!) and that, combined with the tungsten lamp and long exposure did some crazy stuff with the film. I like it, I hope I can replicate it.

Another from my crazy, crazy venture over to Virb Phootcamp 2010!

I played around in the water in a ballgown for several hours. I hear quite a few people got awesome photos of me when it happened. I brought my toy water camera into the water and had a little fun, too. :-)

After using my waterproof Fujifilm camera at a couple of lakes last summer, I noticed that moisture had collected inside the lens covering.

The moisture was not going away on its own, so I turned to the internet and found that I should put a packet of silica gel inside the battery chamber and close it in there for a while to dry the camera out. I am glad to say the silica gel did the trick.

The true test for the camera came when I took it to the pool on July 4. In this trial run, I submerged it in the pool water multiple times and it passed the test. No moisture showed up, but just to be safe, I used a silica gel packet in the battery chamber again and left one in the camera bag with it for good measure.

This photo of the boy swimming through the deep end was a happy accident. It was my last test photo; I wasn’t expecting much, if anything. But it was a really clear and sunny day, so the light, even under water, was excellent.

Early this summer we decided to get a point-and-shoot. I wanted it to do something my DSLR won't, so we picked put a Pentax Optio for it's waterproof feature. We had a little fun with it this summer. :)

I realized i had a disposable waterproof camera in my bag so i used it as i passed the fountains in Trafalgar square.

The weather continued to be perfect around the headland to our campsite for the night - Watering Cove. Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand.

My husband and I received the best scuba diving training we could have ever hoped for from instructor, Glennon Gingo, whom we met on the Big Island of Hawaii. He set the bar really high, and we are ever grateful for the foundation he gave us to have experiences in the ocean that we otherwise would have never been able to accomplish. Glennon is the former manager and coach of the US Free Diving Team, which he co-founded in 1998. He also worked closely with the US Navy and the US Navy Seals on training and safety courses.

We were taking surf photos for a while before we noticed this photographer out in the action with his underwater camera. HE got some great shots!!

The WG-4 and WG-4 GPS (guess what the difference is) represent the top end of the rugged WG line. Like the cameras that came before it, it has an array of six LED lights surround the lens (in addition to the built-in flash) for macro illumination. The sensor is a 16-megapixel backside illuminated CMOS that has sensor-shift image stabilization. To know more, visit www.popphoto.com/gear/2014/02/ricoh-announces-wg-4-and-wg...
