The UK government finally ordered all supermarkets to charge customers for using supermarkets' plastic carrier bags. From 5th October, all supermarkets will charge customers 5p for each carrier bag used. In order to support the green policy and save money I decided to make reusable carrier (shopping) bag (tote) myself. I found the instructions of how to here:

In order to make my life easier I skipped part one. I am not sure the pocket would be useful anyway.
I used ripstop fabric which is water proof and dirt resistance for this bag. The fabric is easy looked after: just wipe it.

i used the non-waterproof version of the light last summer on the kayaks. this one is waterproof and seems to be brighter but the led light chassis will need some modification to make the glow stick end glow white and the flashlight end glow red.
the light was $10 at a local academy store.
