April 2026: A month in 30 pictures
# 25 in my 100 x challenge - ICM/multiple exposures/creative images.
Another of those days where I just didn't have time for a photo. In my panic for getting a shot I noticed the box of washi tapes so grabbed an in camera double exposure. One out of focus and one in focus. Gave it a film edit in NIK and there you have it...a just in case, that'll do!
For those of you wondering what washi tape is it's patterned low tack paper tape for crafting.

What can we do to make a change in the speed at which the earth is racing with so much evil? Where have all the values gone? Yes, this was a graphic *collage* created from different images I found and placed on the lined background with *washi tape* for borders which I uploaded from my collection . . .
Mei Kusakabe found the washi tape and instantly felt at home.
I was going to leave it a while before photographing her again, but I'm afraid I only managed 2 days. :)
For this present I made the tiny garland with string and washi tape.
The other one I made from paper but the washi paper is a lot faster and easier to do !

This is a hacksaw blade, used in a dispenser/holder for washi tape.
Washi tape is a decorative adhesive tape. It’s made from natural fibers like ganpi, mistumata, kozo, or even hemp, but it can actually be made from almost any plant.
Unlike a lot of plastic-based tapes, washi tape is renewable and biodegradable. Though it’s durable and waterproof, you can tear it by hand. In most cases, you can peel it off a surface and re-use it.
Visible in this photo is some of my spouse’s collection. I was sitting next to her art cart and saw what you see above. Thought that it would make an interesting photo… do you agree?
I'm sure some purists will freak out about this ... but I really hated the white (faux leather-ish) cover on my Natura Classica. So I took it off and covered it with colorful washi tape. I didn't think it would be possible to love this camera more, but I'm even more excited about using it now! :-)
P.S. -- The cover came off REALLY easily, so I saved it and will make a template from it if I decide to recover it with leather or another suitable material.
