Kodak Gold 200 35mm film
I posted a phone photo of this last week but I so prefer this film shot that I just had processed and scanned, I felt the need to be repetitive.
One does not expect to find such a grand home, let alone a castle in the middle of rural Western Illinois.
I thought I'd climb the rocks near this creek and get a peek at the rising sun through the fog. However, the fog was so thick it covered the valley.
Long Exposure of Warner Creek from on top of the bridge.
Constructed in 1890 and completed in 1895 at a cost of $80,000, Wilder Warner built this house patterned on castles he had seen in England. The castle features seven bedrooms, two living rooms, a library, dining room and kitchen.

this portion of the building juts out to the east from one of the two main towers and looks to be largely non-functional and just a design element (someone please correct me if I've gone astray). I don't recall if it changed color.
edit - it does change pink - coral - red - blue, etc.
I loved the weather vane on top of the Warner Stables in Banff.

This is Warner Castle located north of Orion IL in what was once the town of Warner. It was built by Wilder W. Warner, a wealthy farmer, politician, and businessman. He had a passion for castles and toured Europe, returned home and built a scaled down version for his home in the 1850's.
The small but gorgeous Warner Lake and Warner Lake campground are an excellent getaway from the heat of Moab in July and August. At 9400 feet elevation the air was cool and clean while, a doe roamed the campground (undeterred by its many campers). As an added bonus, UDOT has just paved the road starting a mile or two below Warner resulting in several miles of empty, curvy and absolutely smooth road down the mountain to La Sal. A short but wonderful drive.
Time Warner Center, the world headquarters of the Time Warner corporation, is located on the west side of Columbus Circle on the site of the old New York Coliseum. The complex also hosts the Shops at Columbus Circle, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the New York City studio headquarters of CNN. It's a great place to visit during the Holiday season, especially to see the Holiday Under the Stars light show in the main lobby.
