Thuja occidentalis 'Globosa Aurea' [GOLDEN GLOBE] WW36 Arb S4- (Golden Globe?) Dwarf Golden Globe Arborvitae Arb, Size at 10 years: 5x5ft., Golden Yellow, USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Michigan Bloom Month -, In Garden Bed S4 for 10.2 YEARS (Lowes,). Planted in 2012.
Big Box item. Tuya Golden Globe. Dwarf variety with bright golden foliage. Rounded growth habit. Seems like a very common variety. After two years, starting to look more globe like. Planted in 2012. Trimmed bottom branches. ~5x4 feet in 2019. Correct name seems to be Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Globe'
American Conifer Society: Thuja occidentalis 'Golden Globe' is a slow-growing, globose selection of Arborvitae with loose, upright branching holding sprays of soft, golden-yellow foliage that holds year-long. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 3 feet (1 m) tall and wide, an annual growth rateo of 3 to 4 inches (7.5 - 10 cm).
This foliage on 'Golden Globe' is similar to that of Thuja occidentalis 'Woodwardii,' from which it is thought to have originated as a golden branch sport. It is said to have been sent unnamed to Europe in the early 1960s where F.J. Grootendorst Nursery of Boskoop, The Netherlands named it and introduced it to the nursery trade.

Grew 2 plants in 2022. They are big plants and produce a ton of tomatoes. Fruit is tasty weighing about 1/2 ounce each. I would grow these again.
