WN_50 [10 points]
The fourth Vienna space invader for me was number 50 (WN_50). An indoor invader in one of the passages of Museums Quartier. Located next to a shop with loads of wannahaves like the map "Invasion von Wien" and a copy of BetonBlumen with the invasion of Vienna inside.

This insider is located in one of the passages of Museums Quartier. Next to the very interresting store SUBOTRON. Loads of video games wannahaves like Pac Man shirts and also space invader stuff. I gave myself two presents: the map "Invasion von Wien" and a copy of BetonBlumen (with the invasion of Vienna and the street art passage).

WN_42 [10 points]
Number 42 space invader in Vienna was the 20th space invader I found in the city. This BERZERK space invader is located about 200 meters from the train station LANDSTRAßE - WIEN MITTE and I ran to the spot just 15 minutes before the train departed to bring us to the airport. This WN_42 can be regarded as a real bonus of our space invader safari in Vienna.

- Totally 20 of all 55 space invaders in Vienna found (including the Invaded Brigde which has not official "WN_--" identification number.
- WN_02, WN_03, WN_08, WN_12, WN_16, WN_22, WN_23, WN_24, WN_32, WN_37, WN_42, WN_45, WN_47, WN_49, WN_50, WN_51, WN_53, WN_54, WN_55 are all in the set Space Invaders Wien.

Museums Quartier (MQ) 22/05/2009 16h19
The Museumsquartier (MQ) is a 60,000 m² large area in the 7th district of the city of Vienna; it is the eighth largest cultural area in the world. The Museumsquartier contains Baroque buildings as well as Modern architecture by the architects Laurids and Manfred Ortner (Ortner & Ortner). The renovation of the former court stables began in April 1998. Three years later, the Museumsquartier opened in two stages (June and September 2001). The total cost of the construction was 150 Million Euro.
The MQ is home to a range of installations from large art museums like the Leopold Museum and the MUMOK (Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation Vienna) to contemporary exhibition spaces like the Kunsthalle Wien and festivals like the Wiener Festwochen, an annual summer event that is headquartered in the MuseumsQuartier Wien.
Additional highlights include the Tanzquartier, an international, state-of-the-art centre for dance, the Architektur Zentrum Wien, production studios for new media, artist studios for artists-in-residence, outstanding art and cultural facilities designed for children, and a variety of other events and festivals such as the renowned Viennale film festival, the ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival, and many others. The Museumsquartier also hosts quartier21, which features a number of alternative art groups.
The MQ has been invaded 3 times in 2006. Two of them are still there, but the hidden WN_48 has been deleted (for its location, see note on the photo). Thanks Lisa-Maria who found this one in 2006 just after the first invasion wave of Vienna.
