Oh it's on, the Blue Jays won't know what hit 'em! Four game sweep with the Mariners averaging 12 runs a game while pitching four straight perfect games, Vlad Jr. won't know what side of the plate to stand on, or, the opposite could happen. :)
The Seattle Mariners have never been to the world series in their entire existence and we fans are at the point, do we dare hope? Just once dear Lord, before I die, can we win it all?....
take a look around in here and feel the pain, anguish, hope, NEED...... For the record we lost this playoff game in 18 innings one to nil sending us home, once again, crushed.

What's a mama bear to do when she has 3 little spring cubs with her, but yet she needs to go fishing for salmon? In my experience, often they will bring their cubs towards humans, almost as if they're dropping them off for babysitting. See, in the spring or early summer, the boars will follow the sows and they to get their babies away from them, so that they can mate. It's a hard side to nature, but if she loses her cubs, then the odds are stacked more in the boar's favor for mating. By dropping off the "kids" closer to humans, she knows that it's less likely that the aggressive boards will invade that space. To me, it's a Win/Win! Thankfully I've never had to witness that harsh reality of the life of bear cubs (fingers crossed I never do).
While on this break for the sow, you couldn't help but fall in love with these little springers ... and I love how they seemed to be so huddled together for protection. Just love bears and these 3 were over the top on the cuteness scale. <3

"Double-Win" .... yesterday as the southbound Lake State road train had a pair of slug sets doing the work - nice to see four units together in the new image paint - here near Rose Center, Michigan on February 8, 2020.
HWW! Another of my "window portraits." To me, the reflected, distorted details of the house across the street seem like something out of a dream. And for a change, I made a photo of a window without shutters. Lately, I have shot most of my "window portraits" in nearby towns and villages of Alsace FR. Instead, this one is from an old, well-preserved section of downtown Basel BS CH. It is full of beautiful townhouses with hidden inner courts.

The Royal Canberra Show is held every year to celebrate and showcase the very best that the region has to offer. I have been entering photographs into the Canberra Show Art Prize for the past three years. There are four classes in which to enter photographs;
-Open
-Landscape/Places
-People & Portraits; and
-Black & White
I always try to enter a photo into each class and I have picked up several 1st places over the years in various classes. This year though something quite remarkable happened: I won every class! I still have not quite gotten my head around quite what this means but really it's an excellent result!
