Finding the correct letters can be tricky work for a three-year-old, so sometimes big brothers can be very helpful.

What possessed me? With a slight nudge from mum, I pulled the dreaded Vtech walker out of the cellar. Not the walky bit, but the buttons.
Pippa took to it with enthusiasm - how many months of "hello puppy" do we have ahead of us?
This Vtech Switch & Go Dino transformer toy set is pretty cool. It's an interactive toy that converts from a construction truck to a T-Rex dinosaur. You can check the full review at: www.squidoo.com/vtech-switch-go-dinos-7350

Just before she shot this, she said to me:
"Look at that star Dad.. I'm going to picture that star."
Okay, we've arrived at a compromise of sorts.. She's agreed to have her own set and delay on the flickrstream until she can display some staying power.. This new kid on the block could just be a flash in the pan and all that malarkey.. She's a bit long in the tooth for this game anyway, what with Gabriel now demanding his own images online as well and he's only Two!!!! Good job Cryno bought him a camera then.. He's shot 145 images today, surpassing his sister by 2.. Weirdly most of his are of his own feet or a rug he's been standing on.. Fortunately, at the end of editing his pics I realised Cryno has taught him the basics.. ;) His images will follow..
All Poppy's images are straight out of camera and not even passed through photoshop.

In 1988, VTech introduced what may have been the most popular learning computer of the 1980s and '90s. The Precomputer 1000 had a 20-character, one line LCD display that was flexible enough to run the system's built-in educational software, which included touch typing instruction, trivia games on subjects like history and science, math quizzes and word games. Most impressively, the machine included a fully functional version of the BASIC programming language (regrettably, you lost your programs when you turned off the unit).Photos: VTech/Benj Edwards
