Well, in case you missed it, Christmas 2009 is now history, and the New Year is closing in fast. We normally switch years between Colorado and Omaha, and this year would have been an Omaha trip. We decided however to stay home for a couple reasons. First is the obvious economic dip, and while I still have a job, my bonuses have dried up. The second is that my sister Christy was coming in for Christmas, and we really wanted to be here to spend time with her (and Jason).
Marna put both of the trees out this year, and we added a few lights to the outside as well. There's even a small tree in Paige's bedroom, and in my den. While that all comes out in a couple of sentences, believe me it is no easy task.
For Christmas day, we went up to my dad's house. There was a psuedo potluck dinner and Marna and I brought pumpkin pie and fruit salad for desert. We also brought my wax bean casserole, which despite the name and look, is actually really good, but nobody had much of it.
Paige of course made out like a bandit, so I'm glad we took some time a few weeks earlier to clear out all the old things she doesn't play with any longer. For the record, she did a lot of the choosing as to what stays and goes, even though it was rough at first. We'll be donating the lightly used toys, which was really a motivator for her.
There are too many new toys to count, but they range from books to clothing and electronics to dolls. In the interest of getting her started early, I got her a VTech Kidszoom camera (seen here). It's actually a real digital camera, including video capture. While the pictures aren't the best in quality, she has a really fun time getting the hang of it on a real camera.

Applied to be able to get the Mod/Dev creator kit for this so I may design clothing for Non Binary and Femboys <3 I Identify as whatever I am feeling like that day, whether its girly not. I have always Admired the male form, in Attraction and for myself. I do in fact wish I could be male most the time and admire and fawn over beautiful femboys. But I wouldn't change my sex as I dont see an immediate need for it. I do sometimes enjoy being Female. but I also Feel sometimes like I am maybe meant to be a Guy. Needless to say, with this confusion in my life since I was a kid I eventually Started to Identify as Non-Binary, or Just whatever I feel that day. In Secondlife though, I can actually be what I feel as I feel so! And its one of the things I love the most about it!
