After 23 days the Tour de France ended Sunday and the winner rider is 22-year old Egan Bernal, the youngest winner in the Tour's 110-year history and the first from Columbia to ever win.
Guess we will go for a bike ride now -- a good weekend to everyone.

One from the archives for Smile on Saturday theme 'Sunrise'.
Although I had always been a morning person, since developing chronic insomnia a few years ago, I frequently don't even get to sleep until sunrise. It was only when I got home from this stunning sunrise on Broadford Bay several years ago that I realised the reflection of the sky in the water gave a distinctive French flag - not added in photoshop I hasten to add!
Something I realiced quite fast was the national pride of the france. Nowhere it was more obvious than on the days before their bastille day, the 14th of July. Full of pride everywhere they raise the national flag and every village, ever so small, is decorated in the colours of the country. They can be shure of my admiration.
