Katrina gets comfy and bares her cleavage. "Come over here, dahling, and sit next to mama," she pleads. Whore! Like I want to get some sexually transmitted fiberglass disease. Her lace-trim and striped lounge wear ($3.00 - Banana Repbulic) was purchased at ThriftTown (where else do I shop?). Lounge wear belt used as a head piece. Necklaces ($1.00 each) from the junk-jewelry woman at the Alameny Flea Market.
Program: Fashion Merchandising, Brooks College. Class: Visual Merchandising. The retail avenue mural was painted by me as well as the design and construction of the 3D display spaces. Created in miniature (1/6 scale), this is my instructional, sample display for Spring 2008 (Winter 2008 Quarter). The space on the left is a student display. Students were required to incorporate paint chips in their backdrop design. The stripe and floral dress was created by me. This format is a good way to teach visual merchandising in a cost effective manner.
