Isis Parenting was created to respond to the unique needs of expecting parents and new families. When Isis needed a new name (among other elements) that recognized the company’s support of expecting and new parents from pregnancy to pre-school, they turned to Corey McPherson Nash.
The goal was to build an inspirational brand synonymous with prepared parenting. We wanted to show a brand evolution that clearly allows the evaluation of new channels and markets with a solidified message. Sometimes colour coordination is subtle.
This is not one of those times.
The yellow jacket, green trainers, green bag, blue shoes, neon sunglasses and, of course, that magnificent hat. Two people walking hand in hand along the Oostende promenade, completely themselves and bringing a considerable amount of colour and character to a pale coastal day.
This is exactly why I keep photographing street fashions.
Clothes are practical. They keep us warm. But they also tell the world something about how we see ourselves, where we belong and, occasionally, how much fun we are prepared to have before lunch.
The promenade is a very good catwalk.
