Visual acuity is the ability to see the details of an object separately and unblurred. Acuity is measured in "cycles per degree", which means how many lines you can distinguish as being separate in a degree of the visual field. Humans see 30 cycles per degree, dogs 12 and cats 6. Acuity in dogs is 0.4 times that of people and twice that of cats. Acuity in cats is 0.2 times that of people and 0.5 times that of dogs. If normal human vision is 20/20, then that of the dog between 20/50 to 20/100 and that of the cat is 20/100. However, it is difficult to measure acuity in animals so studies have often shown wide variations in results.

Desde Holanda, llega Canto Ostinato Audio Visual, una fascinante mezcla de música, artes visuales y tecnología. Donde la interacción entre los artistas y la improvisación son la base de la composición, y por eso cada acto es único.
Canto Ostinato Audio Visual es una oda a Simeon Ten Holt, compositor holandés de música minimalista y creador de Canto Ostinato, entre 1976 y 1979.
La presentación de Canto Ostinato Audio Visual está conformada por: Gwyneth Wentink, arpista reconocida internacionalmente, ganadora del Dutch Music Award. Wouter Snoei en los teclados, director de sonido de diversos proyectos y compositor de música electro – acústica y contemporánea. Y los efectos visuales de Arnout Hulskamp, líder en instalaciones de iluminación y de video, ganador del premio Gouden Reiger.
