Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts building with a little creative coloring. The architecture continues to dazzle visually under a sunset and a hint of red.

A time when a brick wall was an opportunity to make an artistic statement. You can tell that the right hand side of the building was added on at a later date. The design is similar but there is no art pattern. Putting a pattern into the brick is something that was lost in the age efficiency.

No telling how many items are in this store. I would have liked to walk though the isles here. Just to see what items are important to small town folks. Eggs and flour, dog food, and candy bars. Marshmallows and spices.

Just to the left in the background is the water tower. Something we don’t think much about. But you would if you had to pump it out of the ground every time you need a glass, or some to put in your pot to cook some beans, or fill your tub to take a bath. We take our water for granted, but it's a blessing. Scientist tell us we are 75% water which means that what we will be tomorrow is now sitting up there in that water tower.

One of the most photographed locations in my hometown but anytime I can people to the flavor of the capture it makes me happy. These people are located next to the Scout Statue, which is not identified in this image. This area is South of downtown and obviously overlooks the "Heart of America".
