We use a virtual world in various courses (http://www.education.ed.ac.uk/e-learning/content.htm) across the entire programme from an Introduction to Digital Environments for Learning (IDEL), where we introduce virtual worlds and discuss online identity to dissertation supervision, where supervisors meet with their students for virtual meetings.
