A few people purchased a book I created as part of an Ontario arts council grant recently, it contains both Imogen and the pigeons and the Singularity of Kumiko virtual reality stories. They requested them signed so I drew a picture of Juniper in the front page as an autograph. Here are a few pages from the book. Imogen and the pigeons was written in rhymes and poetry where Singularity if more a traditional narrative. I enjoy making things in different mediums so each story often can be in the form of a painting, bronze, book, movie, virtual world environment and then VR environment. Yes I know my work is dark and melancholy.. shhhh.

After being ill for what seemed to be endless weeks, I jumped on a plane with my childhood friends and spent the weekend in London – we had been trying to plan this getaway just the 5 of us for decades, and it finally happened! – and gosh, it feels like I have been away from SL for so long!

Second Life - After my first couple of months in the Second Life Digital Farm System (DFS) immersive farming community by Simon Garrison

Have enjoyed joining the Second Life Digital Farm System (DFS) immersive farming community at the end of August 2024. I know DFS has been around since October 2016. I'm a late, but enthusiastic, starter!

Thank you so much to Sammie Darkwatch for all your love and patient support/coaching in introducing me to DFS. It has been a lot of fun learning about everything with you. I'm a long way from the Level you're at Sammie but it was a gratifying experience to reach Level 1 just a few days ago (via a good amount of farming and animal-related activities). I've also enjoyed a good amount of DFS fishing. Next stop: virtual cooking (and hopefully not too many Oopsie! creations).

I build this in mesh, save it as Collada, import it to Blender and in 1 step I join all prims in one mesh object. I then go to edit, select all, and choose clean up and limited desolve to reduce triangles. Then I apply all transformations and export it as Collada, and voila.
