Researchers at the Simulation and Training Technology Center hope to replace the I-MILES program with an eBullet system, pictured here, that will provide ballistic realism that’s nearly indistinguishable from live action. The eBullet system will correlate a 3D virtual trajectory in a digital terrain map, such as One World Terrain, for each shot fired and provide casualty feedback to the Soldier. Non so se vi ricordate come ha preso il potere il fascismo.
Chi non ha vissuto i fatti e la storia di questa orrenda catastrofe l'ha solo studiata a scuola è caldamente consigliato di chiedere ai vecchioni che c'erano e l'hanno vissuto sulla propria pelle.
I suddetti vecchioni potranno confermarvi che, anche allora, si cominciò con le ronde di facinorosi (le cosiddette squadracce) e la progressiva, stillicida erosione dei diritti fondamentali delle persone: libertà di stampa, d'opinione, di riunione, di parola... di sciopero!
Vi ricorda nulla tutto ciò? E' facile dire "Sì vabbèhhh, ma ora è tutta un'altra cosa!"... ne siamo sicuri? Ne siamo davvero sicuri? Magari il clima di terrore, il razzismo, la violenza e l'odio imposti con martellante insistenza mediatica come l'unica soluzione possibile, le mile piccole limitazioni della libertà personale nel nome di una sedicente sicurezza... magari tutti questi piccoli e grandi orrori non hanno ancora spostato la nostra sedia o disturbato i nostri sonni... ma state sicuri che un giorno qualcosa disturberà anche le nostre placide esistenze e magari ci verrà da dire: "Eh no! Così non mi va! Ora sì che è il caso di cambiare..." Ma non sarà più possibile!
Pensiamoci PRIMA che sia troppo tardi, chè la libertà ha bisogno di impegno costante, mentre la dittatura ha solo bisogno di un po' di tranquillo, acquiescente qualunquismo!

4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County. Emphasis is on science, agricultural literacy, healthy living, career development and citizenship/leadership. Many of the projects made during the sessions are eligible to be exhibited at the Lancaster County Super Fair in July.
2021 Clover College featured 48 workshops with 93 youth who participated (varying from 1 to 15 classes each) with a total 627 class registrations. New workshops this year included: “Virtual Reality Building,” “All About DNA,” “Decorative Couching (sewing technique),” “Steak Science,” “On the Bike Path (bicycle safety),” “Derby Cars,” “Pop Can Casting (fishing know-how),” “Loom Weaving,” and “Care Blankets.”
In Lancaster County, the 4-H youth development program is a partnership between Nebraska Extension and the Lancaster County government. Learn more about Lancaster County 4-H at lancaster.unl.edu/4h.
