Larkins Way South Side in Pittsburgh

EDITED PHOTO: I took this photo yesterday at "Capellini's Italian Restaurant" located in Tewksbury, MA. Today I edited the photo and changed all of the colors except for the yellow flowers. I think the color combination is interesting. Thank you everyone for all your views, comments, group awards, and favorites.

This is the vinyl siding on my house The snow that was blown against it has begun to drift away from the wall.

For the All New Scavenger Hunt #4 - Parallel lines.

The Point Traverse Lighthouse is being repaired. Half of it is now covered in vinyl siding.

It kinda ticks me me off that one of the windows is not like the others.

the balcony of our hotel in St. Ignace, Michigan -- St. Ignace is on the eastern side of the point where the Mackinac Bridge crosses the Straits of Mackinac, thus looking out over Lake Huron

we could see Mackinac Island from the room, off to the right, but not looking straight out

"Mackinac" is pronounced just the same as the town name "Mackinaw" -- simply Anglicizing the French form, which in turn had shifted the pronunciation of the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) word for "turtle"

Seen on Route 66 in Cuba, Missouri. I thought it interesting that someone would add an asphalt shingled gable roof, regular windows and vinyl siding to a travel trailer. There is probably a good story here, but I don't know what it is. There's just no telling what you'll see if you keep your eyes open on Route 66.

Maybe you've heard the news that shooting film has come back into style again. But a lot of newbies are getting bum advice that only certain "cult" cameras are worth owning.

One of my pandemic hobbies has been re-confirming that for a few tens of dollars you can still get one of several overlooked, slightly plasticky, but perfectly fine 35mm SLRs—often Cosinas under other names. It's all you need to get started.

The fleet kind of grew to the point where I should really just host classes where I lend them out. But meanwhile there's been a bit of random test-shooting…
