Rediscovering vinyl after getting a new record player for Xmas! Was so nice to dig out my old LPs after years without hearing them.
I’m just old and like everything analogue, how nice is it tho to see your collection of music and actually listen tot the album all the way through without skipping.
It’s that initial hiss tho as the needle drops that does it for me..

Holding a physical record, carefully placing it on the turntable, and watching it spin creates a more intimate and ritualistic music experience for me compared to the immediacy of streaming.

I love Collecting and Building a vinyl collection for me it’s rewarding, and record stores (new and secondhand) offer a unique browsing experience for discovering new and old music. Buying vinyl directly supports the artists and labels, as they often receive a higher percentage of the revenue compared to streaming services. Vinyl evokes a sense of nostalgia for a bygone era of music listening, connecting me back when I looked towards my future.
