Meet Jerry Bell Jr. The Director of RWB Documentary. Jerry is a man of many talents. Not only is he a director but also a producer & actor. Jerry runs the independent film networking event in PDX too.
Here's a first down and dirty look at the new camera gear. This is the Fotodiox WonderRig Ultra portable video production unit. Its purpose is to make possible professional level video shot with DSLR.
Though the photo shows the setup on a tripod, the function of the Ultra is to make hand held DSLR video possible at a high quality level.
It's going to be fun to see what I can do with this setup and the D4s' professional 1080p HD video capabilities. At the very least I'm now fitted for doing two-camera HD video production.
The next addition to this setup will be a 7" HD monitor and a production quality microphone. Also possible to have a variety of light sources added to the frame.
