She was beautiful, her, and always looked at the sea. In order to see those eyes, he, the sea always kept behind. And he never saw him.

He stares at the glass as one contemplates a life gone by. The wrinkles on his face resemble paths where hope has lost its way. The silence around him weighs heavier than his years, and the bitter taste of absence fills his mouth more than the wine that is no longer there.
Everything seems frozen in the shadow of time too long endured.
Yet, behind his weary eyes, a glimmer remains. For even if the glass is empty, there lingers the echo of memories, the warmth of gestures from long ago, and the fragile but stubborn hope that tomorrow may bring another sip of light …

Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguazu River on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. Together, they make up the largest waterfall system in the world. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the heart of the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. Below its confluence with the San Antonio River, the Iguazu River forms the border between Argentina and Brazil.
