Not exactly a pristine barn find, more like a backyard ho-hum find. This is a 1956 Monarch, Ford's Canadian version of the Mercury. Just to confuse buyer's in Canada the Mercury's were also available. This Monarch is a long way (read expensive) from a restoration. The only reason I think anyone would consider restoring this is for sentimental value. My guess is this car will never be restored. It would make a good parts car for the right person. Found in a backyard in Victoria BC Canada.
