The European White Stork on the left was performing a behavior called " up-down display".
These birds use this display for a number of interactions with other members of the species. Here a stork quickly throws its head backwards so that its crown rests on its back before slowly bringing its head and neck forwards again, and this is repeated several times. The display is used as a greeting between birds, post coitus, and also as a threat display.
In this case the one had just returned to the nest and the other did the up-down as a welcome back.

→ STOP TO VERBAL, PHYSICAL VIOLENCE and SOMETIMES FATAL AGAINST WOMEN...
- Your husband, boyfriend, spouse, colleague or close friend is "kind" in public, but obnoxious or violent in private... you must flee him, because is the best way to protect yourself from someone who has claimed to love you or appreciated you...
- Ladies, don't be withed by his beautiful words - It's just comedy - he lies to you and be aware that it's just to better manipulate you. The man who loves too much women or not enough, will not respect them, if ever ; because he considers them as an object.
- Sometimes, unfortunately, it's too late for some women who, out of weakness in love or frightened under the psychological and devastating influence of their torturer, have not dared to leave him.... and dies under the blows.
- These disturbed, immature and cowardly men - trapped in their huge ego - are real monsters and dangerous manipulators.

Seguiremos...

I just love it when bears stand up and look around ... or walk around while standing ... or in this case, interact with each other while on their hind legs. Such a thrill to see them as they frolic together on the beach, play mouthing as they learn dominance, and display their strength.
Just got back from visiting with the coastal brown bears of Katmai National Park. So much fun for sure, but also so many images to process through. In the meanwhile, this image above is one from a previous trip out there. Stay tuned for this year's images. :-)

Often very verbal, but less often seen. Tends to favour dense, low wetland vegetation with abundant vertical stems, especially reeds and rushes. Found in the Wet Season growth near the concrete causeway in Oxley Creek Common.

Missed a good light, and Lara did not stop one minute.
There I found the result very good after the cut, but I love the context here.

Let's Go Places is the verbal expression that captures the essence of the Toyota brand. It's the enduring spirit that inspires people to live life to the fullest, whatever their adventures may be and wherever they may take them. I like their tag line.

A trip with the Grandchildren to the canal at Lapworth and the Kingswood junction. There is a hand operated verbal histories box which tells the story of Rosie. She and her husband ferried supplies along the canal to the Cadbury's factory in Birmingham. The grandchildren were fascinated with the way it worked and the story.

Verbal,Mental, and emotional abuse doesn't always come from boyfriends. It can come from friends colleagues employers, and family members. Its important to remember people treat us how we allow them to treat us and we should stand up for ourselves in these situations in the beginning instead of hoping they will get better on their own.

So after a little cajoling for another upload; clearly you folks have nothing better to do with your spare time, here we are, and guess what......more water rocks and ****!
Although I know the real reason for the request is just so you can use my stream to unleash all your verbal ramblings. We have had some very interesting exchanges and long may it continue, so let's see where this one takes us. It's a bit like opening the doors to the sweet shop and telling the kids to fill their boots.
Talking of kids and sweets, I remember when my eldest was little, if he had any of those highly coloured sugary sweets in the evening, bursting with E numbers and additives, (dental health clearly being a priority), he would be awake at night hallucinating. Not on the Regan scale with all the head twirling, green vomit and crucifix thing, but a little disconcerting nonetheless. That was until we realised what caused it; after that it became a bit of evening entertainment; lets give Will some Skittles and watch him go!
I am lacking in many skills, parenting clearly being amongst them, but before you pick up the phone for Childline, realise that a teeny bit of that story may be ever so slightly untrue. But, why let the truth get in the way of a good story; after all, The Daily Mail have been operating on that philosophy for years.
Now to the music. This is another beautiful piece from Einaudi. His music is so recognisable, a bit like an image from Shutterbug, DT or GillK2012, you just know who created it.
I have such respect for people who have creative skills, whether it's composing a series of notes, flowing words on paper, or putting paint on canvas. I sometimes have trouble putting one foot in front of the other at times, especially with a bottle of Cabalié at hand. Talking of which, If you like big, dark, velvety reds, give it a go. It's the best £9 you could spend......and it's Friday night!
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
