"I was disarmed by the spontaneity of giving and understood that Lucie cared for it; perhaps her tongue-tied state, her lack of verbal eloquence, made her think of flowers as a form of speech; not in the sense of heavy-handed conventional flower symbolism, but in a sense still more archaic, more nebulous, more instinctive, pre-linguistic; perhaps, having always been sparing of words, she longed for that mute stage of evolution when there were no words and people communicated by simple gestures”

I smiled, pointed at my camera and then pointed at her and this was the result. Who said street photography was hard? :)

- Sintra, Portugal -

No one ever sign up to be Physicals, emotional or verbal abuse in a relationship.

when a relationship starts its fun and joyful time because people date others to find their life partner.

I made this photo because I had seen a post on facebook from a young girl who

stood up to her abuser who was cheated on her, Lying to her.

He stood there and played with her Emotions and her trust. Meanwhile She just wanted

to find someone to love her.

but every lie, secret, and dark cloud hung over her head,

She wanted to believe all the sorry and the I love you.

But She was smart she did her homework, He didn't just do this

to her. where were more girls to his past that were speaking up about the abuse.

If you are getting abuse talk about it... Seek help from 911 or anyone that will listen.

It's ok to be scared we are human.

I will say this I have been in a abuse of relationship in Real-Life and on Secondlife.

when someone is broken and falling part it can take time to rebuild someone trust and loyalty.

This can take weeks, months and even years to heal and sometimes the damage is so bad people can get a mental illnesses

of anxiety or depression or PTSD.

If you are in a abuse of relationship or have been in one and need someone to talk too my mail Box is always open and I do check it everyday.

Here is a listen of things I have been threw

start with the Physical Abuse

Alec Benjamin - Must Have Been The Wind

www.youtube.com/watch?v=emgDoBuFcMw

I heard glass shatter on the wall in the apartment above mine

At first I thought that I was dreamin'

But then I heard the voice of a girl

And it sounded like she'd been cryin'

Now I'm too worried to be sleepin'

So I took the elevator to the second floor

Walked down the hall and then I knocked upon her door

She opened up and I asked about the things I've been hearing

She said, "I think your ears are playing tricks on you"

Sweater zipped up to her chin

"Thanks for caring, sir, that's nice of you

But I have to go back in

Wish I could tell you about the noise

But I didn't hear a thing"

She said, "It must have been the wind, must have been the wind

Must have been the wind, it must have been the wind"

She said, "It must have been the wind, must have been the wind

Must have been the wind, it must have been the wind"

So I was layin' on the floor of my room

Cold concrete on my back

No, I just couldn't shake the feeling

I didn't want to intrude because I knew that I didn't have all the facts

But I couldn't bear the thought of leavin' her

Aim my boom box at the roof, I'm playing, "Lean on me"

Just so that she knows that she can lean on me

And when she hears the words, I hope she knows she'll be okay

Aim my boom box at the roof, I'm playing, "Lean on me"

Just so that she knows that she can lean on me

And when she hears the words, I know exactly what I'll say

"Promise I'm not playing tricks on you

You're always welcome to come in

You could stay here for an hour or two

If you ever need a friend"

"We can talk about the noise, when you're ready, but till then"

I say, "It must have been the wind, must have been the wind

Must have been the wind, it must have been the wind"

I say, "It must have been the wind, must have been the wind

Must have been the wind, it must have been the wind

Cats have a gymnastic repertoire of stretching poses each with its unique charm and purpose.

Masters of non-verbal communication, the majority of their intra-species communication is non-verbal, and stretching is one of their subtle ways of expressing affection and strengthening the bond.

Miaorru: Cuando quiere jugar.

Seguiremos...

My son and I are quite the team. For those of you who know Micah from my early Flickr days, he's now 14. A beautiful and growing teenager who has had challenges all his life with being diagnosed with severe autism and intellectual disability from a young age. Despite being non-verbal, he's always had a joyful spirit and loves with his whole heart. A few months ago my heart almost stopped as he begun having seizures. The first was the worst but he's continued to have many of what they call focal seizures since. He's started medication but they are not under control. I'm left trying to find help from hard to contact specialists and it makes me feel like I'm drowning some days because I don't know what else to do to help him. It seems so unfair. I want to rage but I feel sad. So asking for prayers, for him, for me, for a better balance of my spirit xx

I just love it when bears stand up and look around ... or walk around while standing ... or in this case, interact with each other while on their hind legs. Such a thrill to see them as they frolic together on the beach, play mouthing as they learn dominance, and display their strength.

Just got back from visiting with the coastal brown bears of Katmai National Park. So much fun for sure, but also so many images to process through. In the meanwhile, this image above is one from a previous trip out there. Stay tuned for this year's images. :-)

I could happily spend all day photographing Otters. They are funny, verbal, are undoubtedly clear about what they want (fish!) can take down a Heron very easily and are just so very photogenic...

I was fortunate to capture this ducks behavior at the right time as it seemed to be responding in a less than friendly manner to the other duck nearby! - I love the other duck's indifference to the verbal attack too!!! :-)

I'm sure we could relate to this kind of behavior and probably substitute the ducks for people!! :-)

Hope you like it!

Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - greatly appreciated!!

Have a tremendous day and week folks!

The amazingly talented Kiana Jarman now has all new artwork (most never seen) exhibited at the gallery. This Sunday at 2pm will be the rescheduled Opening! This show will really make you think as it's all about breaking free from those that criticize or put us down in a negative way...including bullying and verbal abuse. The pictures portray the concept in an imaginative way and still staying within our fantasy genre. We will have her opening event at 2pm and the exhibition will go on until May 4.

Musician Tallyesin will also be performing live for the event from 2 to 3pm! UK singer-songwriter and guitarist Tallyesin is one of SL's premier performing artists. His soothing yet powerful voice will be sure to give you a musical experience you won't forget. Tally covers original acoustic styles like Ed Sheeran and James Bay, to more unconventional acoustic music such as Richie Kotzen and Bastille.
