Yet another shot from our flight over the amazing river deltas in the east of Iceland. I really can’t get enough of these images, especially because there is such a diversity of patterns and colors in the individual rivers. I can’t recommend doing such a flight enough, but until you get such a chance I hope you like this image! Wish you all a Merry Christmas!
Veins on a leaf provide support for the leaf and transport both water and minerals (via xylem) and food energy (via phloem) through the leaf and on to the rest of the plant. I've always appreciated the scientific facts in this world, yet I cannot help but see those veins as tributaries to a main river. I suppose I'll always see the fanciful side of nature.
Ray™ Purple Vein Petunia Plant is a vigorous, early spring bloomer. It has large, gray flowers with dark purple veins. The purple of the veins take over the color of the plant, making flowers seem purple instead of gray.
