Pinglin District (a.k.a. Ping-Lin is a rural district of southeastern New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is the third-largest district of New Taipei City and it is located in the mountain area connecting to Yilan County on the east coast.
Pinglin is part of the water district of the greater Taipei area as the Feicui Dam is located in the neighboring Shiding District, so land development is restricted. Pinglin is most known for producing pouchong tea. The Pinglin Tea Museum is the world's largest tea museum. Over 80% of its residents are tea growers or are involved in the tea business.

Bluebonnets (Lupinus texensis) and some scattered indian paintbrush (Castilleja indivisa) bloom above the limestone banks along Childress Creek. This photo is from a bridge on FM 2490 in McLennan County just before Childress Creek meets the Brazos River. For many bluebonnet blue is the color of spring in Texas. However, it is interesting how many different shades of green one can see in this photo. Got to love Spring!

所以請各位攝影前輩同好們，來此捕捉美美的雲海與朝陽之時，請不要擅自闖入茶園裡面，清晨時刻，請大家注意不要大聲喧嘩，拍攝完畢之後，記得將垃圾隨身帶走並注意周遭的清潔~

This stream, originally named Childers Creek for Capt. Goulsby Childers, a soldier associated with George B. Erath's early expeditions through the area, rises up in Bosque County, Texas. It flows for fifteen miles till it joins the Brazos River in McLennan County. This photo is from a bridge on FM 2490 in McLennan County near China Spring just before Childress Creek meets the Brazos.

其實真的還蠻喜歡這裡的地理結構(LEN大真的好會找啊......花瓣)，在覺得可能什麼都沒有的捉龜雨季時來這裡晃晃，天邊竟可以為您稍來一片片感覺無所事事的山嵐，好像剛吃飽飯沒事做一樣，緩慢的路過眼前的大舌湖..........

Thursday, 19 December 2019: our temperature this morning is 2C (windchill -1C), with snow forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Another week, and we will have had winter weather for the last three months - and it is still fall!
This morning, I posted the last nine photos taken on 15 December 2019, when my daughter and I had a great day out together with our cameras. This was our Christmas get-together.
My daughter and I had planned, as usual, to drive to The Saskatoon Farm, south of the city. A good, filling breakfast was our first priority there - great food as always. This was the second of two weekends of their Christmas Market, and what a wonderful feeling it was. So popular with so many people, but everything was spread out, so you didn't feel crushed by crowds. There were vendors inside and outdoors, in the sheds, the greenhouses and inside the main building, too. All sorts of food items, fresh or frozen, to buy and enjoy later at home - pies, scones, soups, and so on. Chestnuts roasting, and marshmallows browning over the welcome open fires.
Once we were happily fed, and we had done a little shopping and taken a few photos, my daughter suggested going a little further south and then cutting across eastwards and then going north until we were east of the city. This was totally unexpected by me, so it was a lovely surprise. The scenery was pure white (with blue shadows) in every direction, with the occasional old barn or shed.
My daughter was hoping to find a Snowy Owl, just like she did on our last trip together and, once again, she spotted one. Like last time, this one was way out in a white field, but we managed to get a few zoomed-in shots. We also saw a Great Horned Owl, so it was nice to see two different species. Unfortunately, of course, it gets dark so early and I needed to get back to the city and home before darkness fell. No time to drive the backroads searching for more Snowies this time.
Thanks, Rachel, for another lovely day out in the countryside. Always my favourite way to spend a day with my daughter.
Vandaag had ik school in Antwerpen tot 12:30. Omdat het mooi weer was, wilde ik graag enkele zonfoto’s maken van PCC-trams. De afgelopen maanden heb ik al bijna overal langs lijn 7 zonfoto’s gemaakt, dus besloot ik uit te zoeken of er een rijschooltram actief was. Dat kan je namelijk doen door op deze site nummers van trams in te geven. Er zijn PCC's die meestal enkel bestemd zijn voor rijschool, zoals op dit moment bijvoorbeeld: 7062, 7072, 7079, 7085 en 7151-7159. De 7062 en de 7072 waren vandaag bezig met rijschool.
Meestal zijn rijschooltrams lijngebonden. Dit betekent dat een bepaalde rijschooltram wordt gebruikt om een lijn en alle keerlussen van die lijn te verkennen. Toch blijft het vaak een kwestie van geluk: elke rit is anders. Je moet bereid zijn om heel Antwerpen door te reizen, op weg naar locaties waar je de trams uiteindelijk toch vaak nét mist.
Vandaag waren er twee rijschooltrams onderweg. Eén ervan reed via lijn 4 naar Nationale Bank en vervolgens naar Diamant. Ik vermoedde dat dit een rijschool voor lijn 4 was, aangezien het traject van Nationale Bank naar centraal station vaak wordt gebruikt bij verstoringen tussen Nationale Bank en Berchem. De andere PCC-tram vertrok vanuit stelplaats Hoboken, reed via Opera en Londenstraat naar het MAS.
Ik ging ervan uit dat ik bij Opera een foto kon maken. Helaas keerde de eerste rijschooltram niet terug naar Nationale Bank, maar reed hij richting de Paardenmarkt, waardoor ik hem net miste. De tweede PCC-tram was van het MAS naar Merksem gereden. Uiteindelijk kwamen beide PCC’s via enkele omwegen in de metro terecht en reden ze achter elkaar van Sportpaleis richting Astrid.
Op goed geluk besloot ik naar Linkeroever te gaan. Daar ontdekte ik tot mijn teleurstelling dat beide PCC’s naar Berchem Station waren gereden. Toch hield ik een beetje hoop dat een van de trams, net als lijn 9, alsnog naar Linkeroever zou gaan. Gelukkig gebeurde dat ook!
Na veel tegenslag was het eindelijk zover: ik kon mijn doel van vandaag bereiken en de PCC’s in de zon fotograferen op een plek waar ik ze nog niet eerder had kunnen vastleggen: Halte Sporthal, Linkeroever.

I was luck enough to be there in the riverbed with a camera the day they released he water from the Santa Margarita Dam into the Salinas River. I captured it all in photos and in video. This scene is about four blocks from home.
