The foggy conditions near the end of last year certainly provided an opportunity for some alternative compositions and images.

Bosque Trail along the Rio Grande in dense fog.

Another shot of the passing storms. we had last week. The direct light slowly disappears as the clouds crowd the sky, but the low setting sun manages to bounce off the bottoms of the clouds for some nice reflective light.

A abandoned railroad the state made into a 250 mile trail known as the Katy Trail

240 seconds with the Big Stopper.

It took me a few minutes to compose this image as I didn't realise that the groyne isn't symmetrical to begin with.

“I could not tell you if I loved you the first moment I saw you, or if it was the second or third or fourth. But I remember the first moment I looked at you walking toward me and realized that somehow the rest of the world seemed to vanish when I was with you.”

A soon to disappear satellite-like iceberg in a Chilean fjord is a perfect metaphor for the year's end. Happy New Year to all.

Tundra Swans and mixed waterfowl in the Great Salt Lake wetlands. These waters are disappearing rapidly as changes in climate, drought, and increasing human water use threaten this resource for uncountable species of birds.

The purchase of this stamp contributes to funds that will support efforts to create a future in which threatened animals can once thrive again... also, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger 🐯

Looks like this is my last shot of the Winter season, next week it looks like real Spring will show up. Coestedt, Ostwestfalen, Germany

This is the last photo I took on my walk through the snow on that particular day. It had started snowing very intense by then and I was able to capture those two trees, that on any other day are nice trees with less pleasant backgrounds but on that one was quite isolated due to that snow. I you zoom in a bit you can see all the streaks of snow falling in front of the trees.

I added a texture layer to this already over experimented with image. But I love it and wanted to share, it's a water texture. I thought it came out really well! I'm going to start experimenting with these textures more often. Have a great weekend experimenting my friends!

Taking a picture on the Lofoten without a Mountain in it is not simple. While i searched my folders i found one and thought it is worth showing you even if it`s not one of my favourites from my trip.

I was standing on a small rock, soaked by the rushing waves and i tried to capture the water during the retreat into the sea. After a while - half soaked shoes and frozen fingers later i was satisfied :)

The automated underground powered walkway between The Smithsonian Art Museums , an underground transit between them, provides an ethereal experience.

Sandwich Harbour , Namibia.

The local guy who took me Sandwich Harbour knew this place inside out , driving through these dunes was something ive never experienced , I have true respect for the Land Rover Defender after this . its a bit difficult to explain , the closest feeling is a roller coaster , as he had to use one dune to slingshot the vehicle up the other . The view up there was quite the experience .
