Man at a bus stop. The sun was shining on a white cement wall, so the background worked out very nicely. Didn't have the opportunity to chat with him.

Solymár, (near Budapest). It was built by Károly Nieger, an artist, painter at the end of 19th century in romantic style, later it belonged to the family Valkó, a father and his two sons and families - the three men were artists, a painter, a sculptor and an archeologist. They lived here until 1989.

Nieger-Valkó-kúria, a XIX. század végétől 1906-ig Nieger Károly festőművész, iparművész, templomfestő, majd id. és ifj. Valkó László szobrász és iparművészek, valamint dr. Valkó Arisztid régész lakhelye; kertje és néhány helyisége az 1930-as évektől dr. Valkó Arisztid 1989-es haláláig a régész magánmúzeumaként is szolgált.

Helsinki streets. Street photography remains fascinating to me but i keep struggling with it. Need more practise i suppose.

Quite a lot of barrel distortions with this Tokina 11-16mm lens. Canon 8-16mm was better but couldn't add filters so i changed to Tokina.

The Trinity Hill is the oldest surviving district of Minsk, although it's not part of the downtown, rather a suburb, hence another name, Trinity Banlieu (Trojeckaje Pradmiescie). The historic neighbourhood sprawls along the left bank of the Svislach River in the southeastern part of the modern city. The Belarusian 5-ruble bill features an image of Trayetskaye Pradmestsye. The district takes its name from the Trinity Convent, of which little remains. The first Roman Catholic church in Minsk, the Ascension Monastery, the church of Sts. Boris and Gleb, and a synagogue have also disappeared. This is an area of 19th-century housing, mostly restored after the ravages of World War II. Modern buildings include the national opera and ballet theatre and the Island of Tears memorial.
