Yesterday was a beautiful day we sat out on the sun porch. Maggie had her Valentine's coat on for it was alittle chilly but sunny and beautiful.
I'm a gamer of massive proportions, so this round of Gacha Garden has REALLY sparked my interest!

I didn't get my dear wife a valentines card this year. However, I did spend an inordinate amount of time, with an Anglepoise lamp and a 4 inch figurine I got her last year, throwing light on it to create shadows on the kitchen wall.

Valentine's Day a casa.
We're too cynical and long in the tooth to make much of a fuss about Valentine's Day.
But as it fell on a weekend this year, I decided to mark the occasion by getting out a table cloth and opening a bottle of supermarket bubbles.
As I cooked dinner, penne al salmone followed by pears poached in red wine and ice-cream, I remembered that 32 years ago we spent Valentine's Day in Rome.
It obviously wasn't celebrated by Italians back then, because no matter where we looked, we couldn't find a card to say 'ti amo".
