An old motor court sits abandoned and dark along a seldom-used rural road. It’s been years since any road-weary travelers have pulled into this place, looking for a good night’s sleep and the promise of a noisy window air conditioner.

More snow fell today; this photo was taken yesterday. Between last night and today, we've had close to 50 cm. We are expecting another 15-30 cm between tonight and tomorrow. The temperature is also taking a dip to anything between -16 to -20 C. Ah, we are finally having a glorious Canadian winter...
