Dynjandi (also known as Fjallfoss) is a set of waterfalls located in the Westfjords (Vestfirðir), Iceland. The waterfalls have a cumulative height of 100 metres (330 ft). Text: Wikipedia.
The magnificent waterfall Dynjandi is truly one of Westfjords wonders, at 100 meters height. Dynjandi spreads its 30 meter wings and 60 meters at its lowest point. The waterfall is located in Dynjandisvogur, Arnarfjordur just about 60 km from our guesthouse. At 1980 Dynjandi waterfall and its surrounding was declared a natural monument and is as such preserved and access to it is made very easy.
You can enjoy a small hike up to the waterfalls top, it takes from 15-20 minutes.
There are trails and information signs at Dynjandi cope as well as benches and toilet facilities.
