There was an exhibition and book signing by well known French authors at the beach this afternoon and Graham (bondog61) and I went down to have a look see. There didn't seem much to interest us at that event, but the Biker's Rally that we found down there too was right up our street.
We walked down the promenade with me snapping photos non stop and taking extra ones that Graham liked as he hadn't taken his camera with him.
I actually took this photo on Thursday when I'd gone down to the beach to take my photos of the Pig Parade.

July 22 2017 - The VIP Section in the Quartier des Spectacles overlooking the main stage.. seems full or fullish. Must be a good view from there although I had a good view just casuallyh walking up on the stage.

We had all access anyway, but we were astonished that people were paying for this. The food provided was cheap buffet crap, two of the four tables were crackers, and chips & salsa. One table had fresh fruit, and another had cheap buffet meatballs and pasta. I couldn't believe people paid nearly double the price of a regular ticket for this. Although the seated bleachers provided a decent vantage point that wasn't nasty, crowded, and in the middle of a mud puddle. Still, the next step up from this was "Platinum VIP" which provided an even better viewing area right next to the main stage.
