Today's upload is a shot from 2 years ago - back when traffic was almost at a standstill here at HKG, but exotic freighters came and went every now and then.

No prizes for guessing who LSI acquired this frame from! AlisCargo has been operating cabin-load cargo-only charters to and from Milan and Hong Kong over the past 2 weeks - and is seen here arriving onto 07R with the Lantau hills in the background.
If you spend the whole day at HKG, 95% you will capture this beauty - celebrating Dragonair 20th anniversary.
She went on to AirAsiaX and now Thai AirAsiaX - 9M-XXL and HS-XTA.
AirAsia's 100th Awesome Plane is off as flight AK236 to Kota Kinabalu/BKI after a runway 25L departure at 09:40 hours.
The frame was painted into this special colour scheme in January 2012, after it joined the carrier one month earlier.

Jade Cargo International Boeing 747-400ERF (with Jett 8 Logo) was approaching to the runway 25L at HKIA.
That was the catch of the day indeed!
Approaching runway 25R can be seen Orbis new and only aircraft, arriving as flight ORBIS 1 inbound from Shenyang/SHE.
Note the additional decal saying: "Thanks to the employees of FedEx for the donation of the aircraft"
The frame was formerly in service with FedEx Express as N301FE named 'Brann', and was stored in Victorville/VCV from May 2014 to May 2016.
Now it is in full Orbis colours and back in the air.
The MD-10 is more than 43 years old, and it probably did never look any better.
Only 8days before I caught this aircraft from the very same spot, operating the very same service AF188 from Paris/CDG.
On this day however it landed on runway 25R.

This Jumbo was once South African Airways' first B747-400 named 'Durban' before she was converted to a freighter, and started her second career with Cathay Pacific Cargo on 15 Jan 2007.
It is here pictured departing from runway 25L.

In May 2019, this Airbus named 'EDTO' was painted into the special scheme "Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)", making it yet another frame of AirAsia carrying a non-standard livery.
It is seen operating flight AK138 inbound from Kuala Lumpur (KUL), seconds before touching down on runway 07L.
The Airbus is leased from Wings Capital Partners, and has had its first flight in December 2013.
