Remember 'Riddle'?
When assembled it looks like this and it has 3 different sides ;-)
Folded from 36 pieces of Freudenberg Paper, 7,5x7,5cm.
I used a simple unit, which I found in an old booklet "Unit-Origami" by David Petty. You can make different forms depending on how many units are assembled and how the unit is folded and used.
This origami Polyhedron variation isn't in the book ;-)

Colour change is possible if you like to make stripped spikes. The size of the spikes is also adjustable (can be made bigger).

У вас такое бывало, чтобы бумага спасала модель? я бы эту красавицу не собрала, если бы не сиреневая бумага. Если бы не сиреневая бумага, я бы эту бумагу растащила на тесты... но разве можно раздраконить драгоценную сиреневую бумагу? Этот долгострой лежал в состоянии 10 модулей несколько месяцев...

The angles are 36˚, so this model is a real 'small stellated dodecahedron' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_stellated_dodecahedron
slightly other (bit stronger) assembly mechanisms are possible for this unit, but they eliminate the color change at the peaks.
Sometimes there's the mood for something very easy...

Creating an origami "kusudama"- family and yes, they have a relative, you can see it in the first comment. ;-)
Do you know how 'Riddle' looks like?... I will upload that photo in a few days.
All folded from the same simple folded unit, which I found in an old booklet "Unit-Origami" by David Petty. And you can make different forms depending on how many units are assembled.
The complete green one is made of 4 original units.
But I discovered that the back was beautiful too. So I made the one in the middle using 12 backsides units.
The first one the left is also made of 12 units, 3 original, 3 backside and 3 of a third variation. Just turning the paper and do the fold sequence and you get a color change ;-)
With this last variation I made the big one on the upper right, 30 units.
All folded from thick foil, square 6,5x6,5cm, glue needed.

Нет, это не то, что вы подумали. Это совершенно другая модель (с). С тех пор, как я увидела одну модель, мне жутко захотелось сделать такую же, но с перламутровыми пуговицами двусторонним эффектом. Рано или поздно
мозг предлагает решения для таких задачек. Сборка ожидалась адская, но в итоге она оказалась совершенно беспроблемной.
