This (I am assuming) mother turtle and her baby were adorable to watch...baby followed her everywhere throughout the tank. And when the baby wandered off too far exploring, mom brought him (her?) right back.
a very sweet pair of father and son. i was kinda stalking them from one end of the plaza to another, well, actually we were just heading the same direction.
the father held his son's hand all the way until they faded away from my vision. i think that was love and attachment. believe it or not.
maybe the kid won't remember the afternoon they spent together when he grows up. maybe that resembled my own childhood. maybe it did happen but i didn't remember. as we grow old, we somehow move on from the past, the pure innocence. that kid probably was really happy with his monkey backpack. simple. satisfied. and peaceful.
