Elbbrücke Dömitz (Eisenbahn)
Die Elbbrücke Dömitz war eine 986 Meter lange Eisenbahnbrücke über die Elbe und gehörte zu den längsten Strombrücken Deutschlands. Das teilzerstörte Bauwerk liegt bei Dömitz und war Teil der Bahnstrecke von Wittenberge nach Lüneburg.
Nach einem Luftangriff am 20. April 1945 stürzte der östliche Überbau vor der Drehbrücke in die Elbe. Weil das Bauwerk die innerdeutsche Grenze querte, unterblieb ein Wiederaufbau. Im Jahr 1978 wurden aufgrund von Einsturzgefahr und Behinderung des Sichtfeldes für die Grenzer die verbliebenen drei Strombrücken und deren Pfeiler abgerissen, 1988 folgte der östliche Abschnitt mit der Drehbrücke und den zugehörigen Vorlandbrücken. Heute existieren noch die 16 westlichen Vorlandbrücken mit dem zugehörigen Brückenkopf; sie stehen unter Denkmalschutz.
The Elbe Bridge Dömitz was a 986 meter long railway bridge over the Elbe and was one of the longest river bridges in Germany. The partially destroyed structure is located near Dömitz and was part of the railway line from Wittenberge to Lüneburg.
After an air raid on April 20, 1945, the eastern superstructure in front of the swing bridge collapsed into the Elbe. Because the building crossed the inner-German border, it was not rebuilt. In 1978, due to the danger of collapse and obstruction of the border guards' field of vision, the three remaining river bridges and their piers were demolished; in 1988 the eastern section followed with the swing bridge and the associated approach bridges. Today the 16 western foreland bridges with the associated bridgehead still exist; they are under monument protection.
Über pflanzliches Wachstum brauchen wir uns in diesem Jahr in
-firliecounty- nicht beschweren. Dank des "ausreichenden" Regens und dann wieder Sonne wird der Mais wohl 3,01 Meter hoch werden. Was ich hier bei mir völlig vermisse, sind diese herrlichen Gerstefelder mit allerlei Blühendem darin.

Spitze einer Glasvase
Eigentlich hatte ich heute keine Idee zu dem Thema. Mann und Tochter Silke, darum gibt es auch kein Foto von ihr, beide krank. Eine heftige Erkältung hat sie erwischt.
Ein Zufall das mein Blick auf eine kleine kugelige Glasvase fiel, die an der Öffnung in ein hochgezogenes Dreieck mündet. Zwei Fotos, eines ein wenig in Luminar bearbeitet, das heißt die hintere Rundung der Vase etwas verstärkt , fertig. so unkompliziert und schnell hatte ich noch nie für Macro Monday ein Thema fertig.

Tip of a glass vase
Actually, I had no idea about that today. Husband and daughter Silke, that's why there's no picture of them, both sick. She caught a bad cold.
A coincidence that my view fell on a small spherical glass vase, which ends in a raised triangle at the opening. Two photos, one slightly edited in Luminar, i.e. the rear rounding of the vase a little bit reinforced, finished. I never had such an uncomplicated and fast theme ready for Macro Monday.

Pointe d'un vase en verre!
En fait, je n'avais aucune idée de ça aujourd'hui. Le mari et la fille Silke, c'est pour ça qu'il n'y a pas de photo d'eux, tous les deux malades. Elle a pris un mauvais rhume.
Coïncidence, ma vue est tombée sur un petit vase sphérique en verre, qui se termine par un triangle surélevé à l'ouverture. Deux photos, dont une légèrement retouchée en Luminar, c'est-à-dire l'arrondi arrière du vase un peu renforcé, terminé. Je n'ai jamais eu un thème aussi simple et rapide prêt pour le Macro Monday.
