I took this a few years ago in New Orleans. The bird was actually behind the angel's head so I moved it closer to her hand.The texture is one that I made myself. Thanks for taking a look. I appreciate all comments. For what it's worth the texture was made in 2012, the photo was taken in 2015. I don't why, but it bugs me when the computer makes mistakes!!

The more you go up, the more you realize how insignificant you are.
Can you spot us? It took us 6.5 hours of hike, and 3000ft (twice the height of the Empire State Building) elevation gain to reach this point. Going down took only 2.5 hours. One hell of a hike.

Nightphotography has really got into me. It is so beautiful just to watch stars and milkyway in total darkness and take pictures.
Utah did not see much of snow this year. Two days after a limited snow storm, there is at least some powder along UPs Weber and Echo-Canyon route. UP #5781 (AC44CWCTE) along with three other GEs storms uphill at Peterson just mnutes after the sun had touched the ground.

As I drove by this tree I just had to stop and contemplate the shapes of these burls as well as the possible age of the tree. I usually think of really old trees occurring in the wilds, but older parts of our towns/cities can be home to them too.
