Georgina loves boxes, if we get a delivery, she has to assist in the opening, and immediately claims the box as hers. Our family room floor is littered with all her "stuff", she is not a super snuggly cat but she is a delightful character, likes to talk, and is so calm in her carrier in the car, I call it her "meditation room" :)

Halloween was only a week ago and we're already preparing for Christmas! Elijah decided he wanted to pose next to a couple of our new Nativity figurines that just came in the mail.... they're all moose!! :)
One of our kitties was a very big boy weighing a little over 22 pounds... we nicknamed him "Moose". Because of his nickname I started collecting moose items. I still collect them in remembrance of Zekie. I've also collected Nativity sets for years so when I happened to look online for a new one I found this moose set. Yeaaahhhh!! :)))
(Sorry we are always in this same spot for photos. Elijah likes laying here to look out of the door and it's the best place for natural light. One day I'll take the time to learn how to use a new flash so we can visit other rooms in my house. I swear that I have more than one room. )

This past weekend, my fiancee and I moved across town to a new apartment. The new spot is closer to downtown, the brewery, the beach and the barbecue place. It's also closer to the tracks (much to Ashley's dismay). Tonight, I should have been unpacking boxes, but after a long day at work I couldn't bring myself to do it. As I sat on the couch flipping through a magazine, I listened to a pair of BNSF Railway GP38s switching cars just a block away. So I grabbed the camera and the tripod and walked down the street. It was a lot better than figuring out where the couch should go.
