Trying to juggle a million things at once. I really find solace in creating. It really does heal.

I met this woman at Guda Vishnoi, a village close to Jodhpur district in Rajasthan (India). You can read more about the Bishnoi tribe here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bishnois
As I pointed my camera towards her, she posed readily and adeptly, as if she did it everyday. She also made some tea for us and offered her odhni (headcloth) to me so I could take my picture in it.
liverpool water on a beautiful summer's evening. Hardly a breeze in the air meant that the reflection on the water was great.
This is a 20 frame panoramic taken at Bass Harbor Lighthouse in Acadia National Park, Maine.
I took two rows of ten vertical shots focusing on lighting the rocks in the lower row.
After 12 hours of driving from New Jersey to Acadia, this was the location that I couldn't wait to get to. The first night here ended up being the only cloudy night of my trip, so I came back the night before my 12 hour drive back to NJ and I wasn't disappointed. I took this pano, set up for some trail trails and then waited for the Milky Way set near the lighthouse. Slept for a few hours and then made the 12 hour drive back to New Jersey.
Thanks for looking!

January 24th, 2016.
We just finished digging out from a nasty blizzard last night... The storm dropped approximately 25 inches (63.5 cm's) of snow on Long Island, and the winds brought drifts to well in excess of 3 feet (91 cm's) in some places.
Now that the storm is over, our pup Bailey couldn't wait to get outside and play -- that is until she realized the snow was well over her head in many spots.
Bailey managed to bunny hop through the snow quite a bit, but tired after a short while. I managed to capture this shot as she was sitting in the snow, pausing for a quick break from all the fun.
Once playtime was over, our exhausted pup quickly fell sound asleep in her bed.
It's great to finally be posting here on Flickr after a long break. Hope all is well w/ everyone, and I'm looking forward to catching up w/ you again!

Just before sundown, spotted these in the field this evening. Light wasn't great, but I like them, so here they are! flic.kr/s/aHsjDr43jR

I like marbles. I like macro photography. And thus . . .
UPDATE: This was Photo of the Day (PotD) on Bostonist.com (r.i.p, which was a Boston-focused blog in the Gothamist universe before it folded in 2011). And it was featured on the Flickr blog in 2014 for the Flickr 10th Anniversary post (quite an honor !)
I am extremely honoured to have this picture featured in the Flickr Blog Selection #TwitterTuesday : The #Pathways

This pic was taken in the base of the towers, in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile, Patagonia. To get there, is needed to walk 10 km in a trail that reaches up to 800m altitude. This is not a easy trekking, but is so rewarding. There is high speed winds, and dangerous places to cross, but the view and the peace up there is breathtaking.
My brother and I reached this place and stayed there for two hours, just relaxing and appreciating the moment.
Sorry for the quality of the pic. It was taken by my cellphone camera, so this is low quality, but this photography really shows the feeling that is to be in this place.
