I am paired with Tawnee Cowan in this round of Get Pushed. She has an amazing story, and a brave and insightful attitude to life, which is reflected in her photostream. Several false starts, and a bit of mascara later...
Just back from a walk, it is a glorious morning, a crisp and cold with bright November sun. Everything looks fresh and lovely. Mr Dino and I are off for a wander, and I'll probably take some piccys. Just finished a scarf with beading for the new wife of a friend, and it has come out so well...
And that feeling of elation, of jumping up and down giggling is only just below the surface.
Maybe not the best selfie ever- iPhone and I are still on a learning curve, but thank you Tawnee, I am in love with today!!

Taken with reverse camera on iPhone, desaturated and brightness and contrast pushed in PEStudio app. Saved. Taken to PictureMagic app, apply very slight posterisation. Save. PixtureMagic app again, apply filter called 'Colour' in Burn mode. Save. Back to PEStudio app. Adjust the crop and temperature slightly. Save...?..

Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one.
Today we had a nice and relaxing pyjama day.
We have hung the first christmaslights in the livingroom, we've made some candles. The kids didn't fight.
We've listened to good music and life was good.
Most of the time I don't need more than this to be happy.
I had a totally different picture in mind, but I found my Yoko Ono glasses and the light made my bedroom look like some wall in the summer with a beautiful shadow on the wall.
I could just not resist to make my own imagine shot.
(oh , and BTW for some twitterfriends, this is kind of my pyjama's ;-)
My Twitterfriend TheAppWhisperer introduced me to a new app called Blender. This is a mix of two iPhone shots, a frosty plant and a storm chased moon. Fascinating!! Thank you, this looks like it could be fun...

During my trip to Las Vegas I got to meet up with @ChrisShouse and @LVRealEstate for an evening. We had tons of fun and got to take some great photos as well.

It was such a pleasure to meet Kim Pearson face to face when she and her son Steven were in Cambridge last week for the Scratch conference at MIT. Kim was one of my first blog friends when I started blogging in 2004. She has long been one of the bloggers whom I admire and learn from. We've stayed in touch via our blogs and occasional emails and, more recently, twitter. It was a thrill to hang out over pizza at Emma's in Kendall Square, talk about our families, history, journalism, blogging... I'm looking forward to doing it again!
