After a long summer break beginning in May, the cape daisies are beginning to bloom again now ... they probably are still in South African 'mode' !?

A rainbow twist lollipop turned out to be the perfect subject for this week's Macro Mondays theme of "Candy". Actually Licorice All Sorts was my first pick but no All Sorts were to be found in my area. The lollipop measures app. 1 inch X 1 inch.

Intentional camera movement in an autumn lit beech forest. Not everyone's cup of tea but an alternative view...with a happy accident thanks to unsteady hands to twist the pattern slightly, rather than just a vertical movement

Took a piece of copper wire, rolled then wrapped it, in the twists of the roll you can see the copper crack. 3/4 of inch square frame.
Our northern Spring is still snowy & cold, and the only flowers you see are in the grocery store! We are planning to travel south in search of some green and hopefully, some warmer temps!

Several old majestic trees can be found in the ancient harbor of Kochi. This flame tree was in bloom and I was thrilled. I love these trees with their showy blossoms.
Oh, the stories this tree could tell of Dutch and Portuguese sailors and traders walking by. Stalls for Indian fish mongers selling freshly caught fish are abundant. It seemed that only the faces in the crowds had changed.
