The Tron Kirk (Church), at the bottom of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, Scotland.
The Kirk dates back to 1637, and was built on the orders of King Charles I. Though it closed as a church in the 1950s, it remains a central point within the city's Hogmanay celebrations.
Shot with a Nikon D40, fitted with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD (Nikon AFS) lens and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.

It's taken on a photo walk with my dear friends Matthias Stiefel and capture the moment (Wolfgang). Was real fun, gentlemen!
Valeria just nodded when she read about today's theme.
"Yes, I think I can come up with something."
She found an old M-Tron suit and some even older train couplings, and asked her gimp to model for her. again.

For those unfamiliar with Lego history: M-Tron was a theme from the 90s, where magnets were introduced in the space theme. Before that, magnets had only been used as train couplings, like the blue one in the back of the gimp.
I am not very familiar with the theme, because I had stopped playing with Lego a decade earlier. Most of my toys were in the hands of my nieces and nephews.

C'est l'église qu'on voit sur la photo avec l'équilibriste.
L’Eglise de Tron ou Tron Kirk (terme écossais pour le mot église) est une des plus connues d’Edimbourg grâce à sa situation en plein Royal Mile. Appartenant à l’Eglise Presbytérienne d’Ecosse, elle fut consacrée au culte protestant jusqu’à sa fermeture en 1952.
De nos jours, la nef abrite un pittoresque marché - art, artisanat, vêtements - , un bar et un bureau de change. En aout s'y tient le Fringe, le festival le plus important de la ville. On y célèbre également les festivités d' Hogmanay, le Nouvel An en Ecosse.

Next (2) figure(s) will again be one of my favorite figures I've ever made.
Este majestuoso monumento fué el primer edificio gótico construido en Portugal.
Alberga en el transepto de la iglesia los sarcófagos de estilo gótico flamígero del rey Pedro I de Portugal y de su segunda esposa Doña Ines de Castro.
Bellísima forma de homenajear el amor prohibido y eterno de la pareja que inspiró la siguiente leyenda:
Inés de Castro fue una noble gallega, que llegó con 14 años a Portugal como dama de su prima Constanza Manuel de Villena, cuando ésta contrajo matrimonio con el infante
Don Pedro de Portugal.
Cuando Ines de Castro llegó a la corte , excitó una viva pasión correspondida en el corazón del infante heredero y fueron amantes durante la mayor parte del matrimonio de Don Pedro.
Al fallecer Constanza, la pareja pretendió casarse, lo cual provocó el rechazo del rey Alfonso IV de Portugal y de la nobleza portuguesa a pesar de que de esa relacion nacieron cuatro hijos .
En 1354 el rey Alfonso IV decidió asesinar a Inés de Castro temiendo el inminente casamiento con el infante Don Pedro y la anexión de Portugal al Reino de Castilla.
El infante Don Pedro e Ines de Castro se casaron en secreto ante el obispo de Guarda y de algunos testigos.
Inés fue asesinada en medio de un conflicto dinástico entre Portugal y Castilla en enero de 1355. Los principales implicados consiguieron fugarse a Castilla.
Terrible fue la venganza de Don Pedro cuando fue coronado rey en 1357- La leyenda cuenta que despues de dos años muerta, el rey exhumó el cadáver de Inés en estado de descomposición avanzada, y lo colocó en el trono obligando a su corte a que rendirle postumamente los honores debidos como reina.
En 1360 el rey de Portugal consigió que Castilla entregara a los asesinos huidos los cuales fueron ejecutados de nmediato.
Enmig d’un bosc espès, un conjunt de roques cobertes de molsa emergeix com si la terra hagués decidit aixecar l’esquena i respirar. La llum s’escola entre els troncs prims i pinta el verd amb mil matisos, des del maragda humit fins al verd llima més tendre. Les pedres, inclinades i estriades, semblen un antic tron vegetal, modelat per anys de pluja, vent i paciència geològica.

I know I've said this a lot recently, but again this is one of my favorite figures I've ever made. (I guess I'll have to do one of those favorite figure pictures soon). This isn't the costume you normally see him in during the movie, but it's the costume he wears when you first see him (the cloak).
I opted out of making the helmet as I didn't want to use a normal helmet or an ADU helmet, or even a normal head as the helmet, mainly because I don't think either of them fit. So he's helmet-less.
After over six years since I started working on R-Tron, I finally have all the models built. Not designed by me, but it was a lot of work figuring out how to build them from the one picture available.
I was inspired by classic Lego product photography and threw this space scene together as best I could.
The 'R' in R-Tron works well. At least in English. Rescue, repair and recovery are what this faction is all about. Basically what M-Tron became.
I've used what Trans-neon orange visors exist but it's supposed to be the regular style visor. The jetpack they used in the original model was trans-neon orange and I've used white here but couldn't resist the trans-neon orange Nexo Knights armor part.

infelizmente não saiu como eu queria, mas o resultado me agradou muito, me inspirei em um gif que eu vi no tumblr rs eu queria a foto super bem recortada e tal, mas não consegui ): creio que teria ficado bem melhor ): me inspirei meio sem querer no ale tb, e enfim, é isso aí, demorei horas pra finalizar, espero que agradem vocês.

Il s'agit de la 2ème randonnée dont j'ai eu le temps de trier les photos grâce à mon absence totale de connexion Internet pendant 2 semaines à Quiberon cet été. Et j'y ai pris un énorme plaisir. J'avais laissé de côté le tri des photos de cette rando car je savais que je risquerais de sélectionner beaucoup de candidates. Mais en même temps, il me tardait de ne pas laisser croupir ces photos.
France. Alpes. Massif du Dévoluy. Photo prise lors d'une rando en A/R au cours de laquelle nous sommes allés avec ma femme au Col de Charnier en passant par le Vallon de Charnier et en partant du hameau de Lachaup. Je me réjouissais de faire cette rando et je n'ai pas été déçu car elle figure parmi nos randos préférées de tous les temps ! ❤️
Cette photo a été prise au pied de l'arête EST du sommet de Roche Courbe, juste avant de rejoindre le Vallon de Charnier.
Le sommet qui trône au centre s'appelle Roche Courbe (2259m) et il fait partie des sommets que je trouve les plus beaux. Sur la droite, on voit la face EST de la Tête de Vallon Pierra (2512m). Quand on voit la face EST ou la face SUD de ce sommet, on a l'impression d'admirer une magnifique pyramide d'Egypte et au cours de cette randonnée, ce sont justement les 2 faces de ce sommet que nous avons eu la chance de contempler.
Ce Vallon de Charnier est un concentré du Dévoluy, dans tout ce qu'il a de plus beau ! ❤️
Sur la droite de la photo, je trouve que les nuages dessinent une espèce d'étoile filante. 😉
So if you didn't know yet I'm a big fan of all the the Tron stuff.
I saw Legacy before the original one and my mind was blown. I mean the music by DaftPunk: phenomenal, the look: surpassing eh and the story...reliable.
And this was in 2010. Oh and yes I'm listening to the soundtrack as I'm writing this.
Ok now to the figs. Here we got Tron with his light-cycle and two other programs. The dudes in the background are nothing special. The one who took me a while was the one and only Tron himself. To find agood body and everyting and yeah the painting doesn't look that good but I'm ok with it.
