the Troika apartment towers (in the middle) seen from the entrance of the Ilham Tower (offices, art gallery and hotel), both designed by the world renowned architectural firm of Foster + Partners. It seems that there was personal input from Sir Norman in the design of the Ilham Tower (ilham is Malay for "inspiration").

One of my favourite homes in Ladner. I'm fascinated by the three stacked floors, reminds me of a cake. The landscaping is impeccable, always. This is the first time I've seen it with snow, but I just realized that there were no Christmas lights despite the time of year, interesting, as this house would be enhanced by tasteful lighting, must drive by it one night, maybe they have those spotlight thingys that make trees look so dramatic.

El nombre del Otoño proviene del dios egipcio Atum que simboliza el sol que se oculta en la tierra.
Sin embargo, habitualmente se conoce como otoño el período que comprende los meses de septiembre, octubre y noviembre en el hemisferio norte y marzo, abril y mayo en el hemisferio sur.
En ambos hemisferios, el otoño es la estación de las cosechas, por ejemplo, del maíz y el girasol. En la literatura, el otoño, en sentido figurado, representa la madurez.
Durante el otoño, las hojas de los árboles caducos cambian y su color verde se vuelve amarillento y amarronado, hasta que se secan y caen ayudadas por el viento que sopla con mayor fuerza. A partir de esta estación, la temperatura comienza a bajar.

The name comes from the Fall Egyptian god Atum symbolizing the sun is hidden in the earth.
However, commonly known as autumn period covers the months of September, October and November in the northern hemisphere and March, April and May in the southern hemisphere.
In both hemispheres, autumn is the season of crops, eg maize and sunflower. In the literature, autumn, figuratively represents maturity.
During the fall, the leaves of deciduous trees change their green color and becomes yellowish and brownish, until dry and fall helped by the wind blowing harder. From this station, the temperature starts to drop.
